OCD Therapy Group
Designed for individuals seeking additional support outside of their one-on-one therapy sessions or individuals in the maintenance stage of treatment that need a little extra support. Led by a licensed therapist specializing in treating OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, this group aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment where participants can connect with others facing similar challenges.
Objectives
Exposure and Response Therapy
Participants will engage in carefully guided exposure and response therapy exercises. These exercises are designed to help individuals confront their fears and reduce compulsive behaviors in a supportive setting.
Peer Support
The group offers a unique opportunity for members to share experiences, insights, and encouragement with others who understand their struggles. This peer support fosters a sense of community and shared understanding.

Our sessions will introduce practical tools and strategies to help manage OCD symptoms. These are grounded in the latest therapeutic approaches and tailored to meet the individual needs of group members.
Group Structure
Bi-Weekly Meetings
The group will meet bi-weekly for 90-minute sessions. Each session will include a combination of therapeutic exercises, group discussions, and skill-building activities.
Interactive Sessions
Participants will have ample opportunity to engage in discussions and activities, ensuring that each person can both contribute and benefit from the collective wisdom of the group.
Educational Resources
Some educational materials will be provided and others will be strongly recommended to support learning and application of strategies outside of group meetings.

Joining this group can enhance personal growth and development, offering a complementary approach to individual therapy. Members will gain deeper insights into their OCD, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and build lasting connections with others who can empathize with their journey.
