Therapy Service Descriptions

Diagnostic Evaluation $265

This evaluation is a collaborative process to help me understand you as an entire person; including your history, current struggles, and your goals. Using all this information, we will determine together if we should move forward to create an individualized treatment plan, made with a mixture of evidence based treatments. This service is only needed for new clients or clients who have not had a session in 6 months. This session will be about 60 minutes.

Intensive Outpatient

$TBD

This service is for those that find one individual session a week is not enough to make significant change at this time in their ERP journey. Some people need a higher frequency of sessions due to severity, accountability, or number of diagnosis'. And that's okay. Intensive Outpatient therapy includes two or more individual sessions per week for the same three time periods: 30 minutes, 50 minutes, or 90 minutes.

Family Therapy

$175

In order to effectively treat OCD, you need to identify your OCD tribe; those individuals who are going to support you during your journey to recovery no matter what happens. This service is to help your OCD tribe learn more about your OCD symptoms and how they can best support you during the tough times when using ERP. These sessions can either be for 45 minutes or 90 minutes.

Individual Therapy

$175

An individual session is your standard outpatient CBT session and can be booked for one of three different time periods: 30 minutes, 50 minutes, or 90 minutes. During this time we will work through your unique treatment plan using a combination of evidence based techniques. We will be monitoring your progress using regular assessments to determine the best way to proceed with your treatment plan.

In-Home Therapy

$175 + travel fee

In-home therapy is for individuals diagnosed with severe OCD and/or severe agoraphobia. These individuals could have a fear of leaving their home for any reason coupled with an extreme amount of anxiety at any attempts to leave. These individuals often need extra support with their in-person exposures during their ERP journey. These sessions are for 45 minutes or 90 minutes.

*Price does not include travel fee

Practice Policies

Insurance

If you are a self pay client seeking to get reimbursement from your insurance company, an invoice/super bill will be provided upon request to submit for reimbursement or out of network benefits.

Recently, I made the decision to partner with a company that will help me be able to start accepting insurance for the therapy services I offer in an effort to act in line with my value of making mental health treatment more accessible, especially in minority communities. Beginning April 1st 2023, there will be limited slots available for potential clients needing to use their insurance benefits. Schedule your session below to reserve your spot.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for therapy sessions can be made via phone, email, or secure messaging in the client portal, and cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee.

(Exceptions may be made for infrequent, uncontrollable circumstances.)

I go above and beyond to act as a safety net for my clients, and strive to make their experience as pleasant as possible. Take a look at some answers to the most frequently asked psychology-related questions and requests below.

How long does each therapy session take?

There are several different session times to chose from. The shortest session time is 30 minutes, followed by 50 minutes, then 75 minutes, and finally 90 minutes. If you are an individual with moderate to severe anxiety, longer session times are available upon request.

What type of therapy do you use?

During session, I only use evidence based practices. I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Therapy, which are types of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone and therefore offer sliding scale rates. At this time, I only have the capacity to offer a limited amount of sliding scale rates. However, there is a running waitlist. Click here to add your name to the sliding scale waitlist.

Is therapy via video chat as affective as therapy in person?

Research shows that Telehealth therapy is as effective as in-person therapy, and it allows more people to have access to services.
